The Book of Revelation prophesies, “Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to Him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and His wife has made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white: for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints. And he said to me, Write, Blessed are they which are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb. And he said to me, These are the true sayings of God” (Revelation 19:7–9).

We all know that these verses were from a vision that John saw of the Lord’s return in the last days. They told us that all those who are able to attend the marriage supper of the Lamb will be welcoming the Lord and will be the most blessed. Then what is the marriage supper of the Lamb? What Is the Marriage Supper of the Lamb?

What is the marriage supper of the Lamb? What is the marriage supper God has prepared for people? In fact, there are many prophecies in the Bible which have told us about this. For example, the Lord prophesied, “I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth” (John 16:12–13). “And if any man hear My words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejects Me, and receives not My words, has one that judges him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day” (John 12:47–48). “Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city” (Revelation 22:14). Isaiah 2:4 prophesied, “And He shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people.” And 1 Peter 4:17 says, “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God.” And so on.

From these verses we can see that because the spiritual stature of those in the Age of Grace was too small, the Lord Jesus did not give them all the truths required to completely save corrupt mankind. There are still many deeper, higher truths, that is, there are many truths that the Lord Jesus did not give mankind that will allow people to free themselves from the bonds of sin and purify their corruption. That’s why the Lord Jesus prophesied that He would return to tell man all the truths they do not understand and things that are to come, and would use the truth to do the work of judgment beginning with God’s house. This is to cleanse and save those who come before His throne, so that they are able to fully cast off the shackles of sin, be cleansed, be perfected into overcomers by God and be led into God’s kingdom.

Clearly, the marriage supper of the Lamb refers to all the truths that God has prepared in accordance with what corrupt mankind needs and will bestow on them when He returns in the last days. Only by welcoming the Lord and attending the marriage supper of the Lamb can we enjoy the watering and supply of the living water of life, gain the salvation bestowed on man by God in the last days, be cleansed by God, and enter into God’s kingdom.

How Can We Attend the Marriage Supper of the Lamb?

Then how can we attend the marriage supper of the lamb? The Lord Jesus said, “And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go you out to meet him” (Matthew 25:6). “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me” (John 10:27). And Revelation 2:7 says, “He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” Revelation 3:20 says, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me.” These verses show that if we want to welcome the Lord and attend the marriage supper of the Lamb, it is imperative that we take heed to listen to God’s voice. That is to say, when we hear someone testifying that the Lord Jesus has returned to express the truth and perform the work of judgment beginning with God’s house, we cannot deny or condemn it based on our notions and imaginings. Almighty God has expressed the truth and done the work of judgment beginning with God’s house to fully cleanse and save people. This entirely fulfills the prophecies of the Lord Jesus mentioned above. Almighty God started to officially perform His ministry, utter His words, and perform the work of judgment beginning with God’s house in 1991. And He has expressed millions of words, more than all the words in the Bible. The marriage supper of the Lamb has already been well prepared for mankind. Almighty God’s words are bountiful, and they reveal the mystery of God’s six-thousand-year management plan, judge mankind’s corrupt nature, show people the way to practice in the new age, predict the future of the kingdom and the destinations of all kinds of people, and more. Almighty God has expressed all the truths necessary to purify and fully save corrupt mankind. Almighty God is “the Spirit of truth,” and His utterances are “what the Spirit says to the churches” and are a rich feast bestowed on man by God in the last days.

Let’s read what the words of Almighty God have to say about the Lord returning to do the work of judgment and purification. Almighty God says, “Though Jesus did much work among man, He only completed the redemption of all mankind and became man’s sin offering; He did not rid man of all his corrupt disposition. Fully saving man from the influence of Satan not only required Jesus to become the sin offering and bear the sins of man, but it also required God to do even greater work to rid man completely of his satanically corrupted disposition. And so, now that man has been forgiven of his sins, God has returned to the flesh to lead man into the new age, and begun the work of chastisement and judgment. This work has brought man into a higher realm. All those who submit under His dominion shall enjoy higher truth and receive greater blessings. They shall truly live in the light, and they shall gain the truth, the way, and the life.”

“Christ of the last days uses a variety of truths to teach man, to expose the substance of man, and to dissect the words and deeds of man. These words comprise various truths, such as man’s duty, how man should obey God, how man should be loyal to God, how man ought to live out normal humanity, as well as the wisdom and the disposition of God, and so on. These words are all directed at the substance of man and his corrupt disposition. In particular, the words that expose how man spurns God are spoken in regard to how man is an embodiment of Satan, and an enemy force against God. … What the work of judgment brings about is man’s understanding of the true face of God and the truth about his own rebelliousness. The work of judgment allows man to gain much understanding of the will of God, of the purpose of God’s work, and of the mysteries that are incomprehensible to him. It also allows man to recognize and know his corrupt essence and the roots of his corruption, as well as to discover the ugliness of man. These effects are all brought about by the work of judgment, for the essence of this work is actually the work of opening up the truth, the way, and the life of God to all those who have faith in Him. This work is the work of judgment done by God.”

God’s words show that at that time the Lord Jesus just did the work of redemption, and that although we have been forgiven through our belief in the Lord, our sinful nature remains unresolved, and therefore we can still involuntarily sin and resist God. Our having satanic nature is the root cause behind our resistance of God. Almighty God, Christ of the last days, expresses the truth on the foundation of the Lord Jesus’ work to cleanse and save people. When we accept and experience judgment before the seat of Christ of the last days, this is attending the marriage supper of the Lamb.

God’s work of judgement in the last days consists of expressing many aspects of the truth, expressing God’s disposition and what God has and is, revealing all the mysteries, judging man’s God-resisting and God-betraying satanic nature, exposing and dissecting man’s speech and behavior, and revealing God’s holy, righteous, and unoffendable disposition to all of mankind. All those who are able to accept God’s judgement and chastisement and attend the marriage supper of the Lamb can not only enjoy the supply of God’s living water of life, but also see clearly the essence and truth of their corruption through the judgment of God’s words. At the same time, they will have some true understanding of God’s righteous and holy disposition that tolerates no offense, gradually develop a God-fearing, God-loving heart, thereby gradually attain transformation and purification in their corrupt dispositions, and ultimately achieve salvation and enter into God’s kingdom.

We will know God’s disposition and what God has and is through the words of Almighty God, and also know the truth of our own corruption, find the path to cleanse our sins, and see God’s appearance through the judgement and chastisement of God’s words—is this not being face to face with God and attending the marriage supper of the Lamb?

Ever since Almighty God started His work of judgment of the last days, more and more people that thirst for the truth and God’s appearance have recognized His voice in Almighty God’s words. One after another, they have accepted Almighty God’s work in the last days. They have been caught up before God’s throne to meet with Him face-to-face and accepted the watering and nourishing of His words. They have gained true knowledge of God. Their corrupt dispositions have been cleansed. These people have already been made overcomers before the great catastrophes. They have been obtained by God as the first fruits. This entirely fulfills the prophecies in the Book of Revelation, “These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being the first fruits to God and to the Lamb. And in their mouth was found no guile: for they are without fault before the throne of God” (Revelation 14:4–5). “Him that overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of My God, and he shall go no more out” (Revelation 3:12).

Now, the great disasters have begun; only by accepting Almighty God’s work of judgment of the last days and attending the marriage supper of the Lamb can we be cleansed, receive God’s protection during the disasters, and enter into God’s kingdom. So, our urgent task is to be the wise virgins who proactively listen to God’s voice to greet the Lord. Only by doing so will we be able to attend the marriage supper of the Lamb and enjoy all the truths bestowed on man by God in the last days. If we don’t seek or investigate when we hear someone testifying that the Lord has returned, then we will become the foolish virgins, will not only have no chance to attend the marriage supper of the Lamb, but also miss our chance to welcome the Lord, and will end up falling into disaster, weeping and gnashing our teeth.
