How to Hear God’s Voice and Welcome the Lord

Now the great disasters have befallen and the prophecies of the Lord’s return have largely been fulfilled. Throughout the entire world, only The Church of Almighty God is openly testifying that the Lord Jesus has returned as Almighty God, Christ of the last days, who has expressed millions of words and is performing the work of judgment beginning in God’s house. After many true believers in God read Almighty God’s words, they hear God’s voice and welcome the Lord. But some people don’t seek or investigate quickly, thinking, “Only the One who shows signs and wonders is God. Almighty God doesn’t show signs and wonders, so how could He be the returned Lord Jesus?” Have we thought that if those who display signs and wonders are God as we think, won’t wizards and witches, who can show miracles and engage in sorcery, appear as God after they display some supernatural signs and wonders? It shows that whether it is the Lord’s return is not ascertained by whether one can show signs and wonders.

Actually, the Lord Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life” (John 14:6). To measure whether it is God, we should see whether He can express the truth. Only the One who can express the truth is God and those who can’t are not God. The Lord Jesus once told us clearly, “I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth” (John 16:12–13). “My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me” (John 10:27). Chapters 2 and 3 of the Book of Revelation prophesied multiple times: “He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.” We can see from this that when God returns in the last days, He will express the truth and the words the Holy Spirit says to the churches. The most important thing to greeting the Lord is that we must hear God’s voice. All those who can hear God’s voice can welcome the Lord and attend the banquet with the Lord. Then how can we hear God’s voice? How can we make sure that Almighty God’s utterances are God’s voice? Please read the following.

1. God’s Words Possess Power and Authority and Are All Truths

We all know that God is the Creator. No matter whether it is God incarnate who speaks utterances or it is God’s Spirit who speaks utterances, They all possess authority and power and can reveal to man the truths he does not understand. Every time God speaks utterances in the flesh, it must involve several aspects of content. The main part is the words of God’s requirements and admonitions of man, God’s administrative decrees and commandments, as well as words of God’s promise to mankind, and so on. These words are the expression of the truth, the way and the life, the manifestation of the essence of God’s life, and represent God’s disposition and what He has and is. From the words expressed by God, man can see that God’s words are the truth and possess authority and power. Just as what the Lord Jesus said, “But whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life” (John 4:14). “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes to the Father, but by Me” (John 14:6). “Heaven and earth shall pass away, but My words shall not pass away” (Matthew 24:35). “But woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites!” (Matthew 23:13). “Why I say to you, All manner of sin and blasphemy shall be forgiven to men: but the blasphemy against the Holy Spirit shall not be forgiven to men. And whoever speaks a word against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit, it shall not be forgiven him, neither in this world, neither in the world to come” (Matthew 12: 31–32). The Lord Jesus’ words are God’s utterances to the entire mankind, directly expressing God’s disposition and God’s intentions for mankind. When we read His words, we will feel these words are the truth, with authority and power and are God’s voice!

Almighty God is God in the flesh, the Lord Jesus returned. Similarly, the words He expresses possess authority and power and are all truths. Today, Almighty God unlocks the mystery of the truth concerning God’s name, like why the name of Jehovah changed to Jesus and why God’s name needs to change, which we do not understand. Let’s read two passages of Almighty God’s words.

Almighty God says, “Why is it that Jehovah and Jesus are one, yet They are called by different names in different ages? Is it not because the ages of Their work are different? Could a single name represent God in His entirety? This being so, God must be called by a different name in a different age, and He must use the name to change the age and to represent the age. For no one name can fully represent God Himself, and each name is able only to represent the temporal aspect of God’s disposition in a given age; all it needs to do is to represent His work. Therefore, God can choose whatever name befits His disposition to represent the entire age. ”

“I was once known as Jehovah. I was also called the Messiah, and people once called Me Jesus the Savior with love and esteem. Today, however, I am no longer the Jehovah or Jesus that people knew in times past; I am the God who has returned in the last days, the God who shall bring the age to an end. I am the God Himself that rises up from the end of the earth, replete with My entire disposition, and full of authority, honor, and glory. People have never engaged with Me, never known Me, and have always been ignorant of My disposition. From the creation of the world until today, not one person has seen Me. This is the God who appears to man in the last days but is hidden among man. He resides among man, true and real, like the burning sun and the blazing flame, filled with power and brimming with authority. There is not a single person or thing that shall not be judged by My words, and not a single person or thing that shall not be purified through the burning of fire. Eventually, all nations shall be blessed because of My words, and also smashed to pieces because of My words. In this way, all people during the last days shall see that I am the Savior returned, and that I am the Almighty God that conquers all of mankind. And all shall see that I was once the sin offering for man, but that in the last days I also become the flames of the sun that incinerate all things, as well as the Sun of righteousness that reveals all things. This is My work in the last days. I took this name and am possessed of this disposition so that all people may see that I am a righteous God, the burning sun, the blazing flame, and so that all may worship Me, the one true God, and so that they may see My true face: I am not only the God of the Israelites, and I am not just the Redeemer; I am the God of all creatures throughout the heavens and the earth and the seas.”

Almighty God’s words possess authority and power and tell us the truth of God’s name. From this we understand that God uses names to represent ages and divide age from age. A name represents a stage of God’s work and a part of God’s disposition. When God opens up a new age, God’s name will change accordingly as the work is different. The name of Jehovah represented the Age of Law. In the Age of Law, the work done by Jehovah God was to decree the law and guide man’s life and what He revealed to man was His majestic and wrathful disposition which could curse man and show mercy to man. When God came to usher in the Age of Grace and conclude the Age of Law, God’s name changed to Jesus. The Lord Jesus did the work of crucifixion and became the sin offering to take on the sin of the whole mankind. What He revealed to man was the disposition of love, mercy, and so on. It can be seen that the change of God’s name is because of the change of work. Even if God’s work and names are different, in substance it is the same God who does the work of saving mankind. In the last days, the Lord returns and opens up the Age of Kingdom and ends the Age of Grace on the foundation of the redemptive work, doing the work of judging and purifying man while revealing the outcome of all creation and dividing man into different categories. So, when God returns, He can’t be called Jesus but is called Almighty God, so that man can see that He is the majestic and righteous God Himself who is replete with glory and authority. This is the meaning of God’s name being called Almighty God in the final age.

We can think: If it were not God’s utterances, who could express these truths? Almighty God not only reveals the truths of God’s name, but also unlocks the mysteries, judges mankind’s corrupt nature, points out the life direction for man, determines man’s outcomes and destinations, and so on. On hearing Almighty God’s words, those who belong to God’s sheep feel that each of Almighty God’s words is with authority and power and is the truth and they ascertain that these words are God’s voice.

2. God’s Words Possess God’s Majestic and Righteous Disposition

We all know that God’s words represent His disposition and what He has and is and is the manifestation of His disposition. From the words God expresses, we can feel His majestic and righteous disposition. Just as what the Lord Jesus said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, Whoever commits sin is the servant of sin. And the servant stays not in the house for ever: but the son stays ever” (John 8:34–35). “Not every one that said to Me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that does the will of My Father which is in heaven. Many will say to Me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name? and in Your name have cast out devils? and in Your name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess to them, I never knew you: depart from Me, you that work iniquity” (Matthew 7:21–23). From the Lord Jesus’ words, we can feel God’s majestic and righteous disposition of intolerance of people’s offenses. God loathes and resents those who commit sins and do evil. No matter how many years people believe in the Lord, how much they have suffered in running around and expending themselves, as long as they are not freed from the bond of sin and still often commit sins to resist God, they will absolutely not enter into God’s kingdom.

Almighty God is the Lord Jesus returned. Let’s read Almighty God’s words again. Almighty God says, “You must know what kind of people I desire; those who are impure are not permitted to enter into the kingdom, those who are impure are not permitted to besmirch the holy ground. Though you may have done much work, and worked for many years, in the end if you are still deplorably filthy, then it will be intolerable to the law of Heaven that you wish to enter My kingdom! From the foundation of the world until today, never have I offered easy access to My kingdom to those who curry favor with Me. This is a heavenly rule, and no one can break it!” “You might imagine that, having been a follower for so many years, you have put in hard work no matter what, and you should be granted a bowl of rice in God’s house just for being a service-doer. I would say that the majority of you think this way, for you have always pursued the principle of how to take advantage of things and not be taken advantage of. Thus, I am telling you now in all seriousness: I do not care how meritorious your hard work is, how impressive your qualifications, how closely you follow Me, how renowned you are, or how much you have improved your attitude; as long as you have not met My demands, you will never be able to win My praise. Write off all those ideas and calculations of yours as soon as possible, and start treating My requirements seriously; otherwise, I will turn everyone to ash in order to bring an end to My work and, at worst turn My years of work and suffering into nothing, for I cannot bring My enemies and those people who reek of evil and have Satan’s appearance into My kingdom or take them into the next age.”

After reading Almighty God’s words, people who have a heart and a spirit feel that Almighty God’s words are the same with the Lord Jesus’ words and that they all manifest God’s majestic and righteous disposition, and they also feel God’s holy essence and produce reverence involuntarily in their hearts. In the meantime, they also understand that to enter into the kingdom of heaven, they must wrest themselves from the fetters of sin thoroughly and get purified. Just as what the Book of Revelation prophesied: “Blessed are they that do His commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city” (Revelation 22:14). We can think that: Who can decide what kind of people can enter into the kingdom of heaven and what kind of people can’t from the position as the Creator? Whose words can express and manifest God’s righteous disposition of intolerance of people’s offenses? Only the Creator possesses such authority and power. Almighty God’s words fully reveal God’s unique authority and identity. Those who belong to God’s sheep will have such a confirmation after listening to Almighty God’s words: These words are God’s expression and God’s voice.

3. God’s Words Shake Heaven and Earth and Will Surely Be Fulfilled After Being Spoken

God’s words are the personal utterances of the Creator. Once God’s words are spoken, they can shake heaven and earth and will surely be fulfilled and no one can change it. For example, when the Lord Jesus came to the world, He no longer talked about the Old Testament laws but brought man new words, preached the way of repentance and told man that they should worship God in spirit and in truth and that the Son of man is the Lord of the Sabbath, and so on. The words expressed by the Lord Jesus shook the whole of Judaism. Those who paid attention to hearing God’s voice accepted the Lord Jesus’ salvation, while those Jewish chief priests, scribes, and Pharisees resisted and condemned the Lord Jesus frenziedly and even joined hands with the Roman government and crucified Him. Almighty God is the Lord Jesus returned. Similarly, when Almighty God’s words are uttered, they also can shake heaven and earth and can be fulfilled gradually. Almighty God expresses the truth on the foundation of the Lord Jesus’ work, performing the work of judgment beginning with God’s house to purify and save man. These words shake heaven and earth and the entire religious world. Let’s read a passage of Almighty God’s words. Almighty God says, “Throughout the universe I am doing My work, and in the East, thunderous crashes issue forth endlessly, shaking all nations and denominations. It is My voice that has led all men into the present. I cause all men to be conquered by My voice, to fall into this stream, and submit before Me, for I have long since reclaimed My glory from all the earth and issued it forth anew in the East. Who does not long to see My glory? Who does not anxiously await My return? Who does not thirst for My reappearance? Who does not pine for My loveliness? Who would not come to the light? Who would not look upon the richness of Canaan? Who does not long for the return of the Redeemer? Who does not adore Him who is great in power? My voice shall spread throughout the earth; I will face My chosen people and speak more words to them. Like the mighty thunders that shake the mountains and rivers, I speak My words to the whole universe and to mankind. Hence the words in My mouth have become man’s treasure, and all men cherish My words. The lightning flashes from the East all the way to the West. My words are such that man is loath to give them up and at the same time finds them unfathomable, but rejoices in them all the more. All men are glad and joyful, celebrating My coming, as if an infant had just been born. By means of My voice, I shall bring all men before Me. Thenceforth, I shall formally enter into the race of men so that they will come to worship Me. With the glory that I radiate and the words in My mouth, I shall make it such that all men come before Me and see that the lightning flashes from the East and that I have also descended unto the ‘Mount of Olives’ of the East. They will see that I have already long been on earth, no longer as the Son of the Jews but as the Lightning of the East. For I have long since been resurrected, and have departed from mankind’s midst, and then reappeared with glory among men. I am He who was worshiped countless ages before now, and I am also the infant forsaken by the Israelites countless ages before now. Moreover, I am the all-glorious Almighty God of the present age! Let all come before My throne and see My glorious countenance, hear My voice, and look upon My deeds. This is the entirety of My will; it is the end and the climax of My plan, as well as the purpose of My management: to have every nation worship Me, every tongue acknowledge Me, every man repose his faith in Me, and every people be subject unto Me!”

Since Almighty God, Christ of the last days, has appeared and worked, He has expressed millions of words to judge and purify man. The truths expressed by Almighty God have not been expressed by God from the creation of the world and man has never heard of them. This exactly fulfills the Lord Jesus’ prophecies, “I have yet many things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. However, when He, the Spirit of truth, is come, He will guide you into all truth” (John 16:12–13). “He that rejects Me, and receives not My words, has one that judges him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day” (John 12:48). This completely fulfills this prophecy in Revelation, “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear My voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with Me” (Revelation 3:20) and also fulfills Almighty God’s words, “Throughout the universe I am doing My work, and in the East, thunderous crashes issue forth endlessly, shaking all nations and denominations.
