Seeing Through the CCP’s Rumors and Abandoning Satan and Coming Back Before God

 The May 28 Zhaoyuan Case Caused Me to Develop Doubts Again

One night, I turned on the TV and saw that the May 28 Zhaoyuan Case was being covered, in which people who claimed to believe in Almighty God killed a person. Seeing this, I felt very shocked, thinking: How could this be possible? Isn’t this vilifying The Church of Almighty God? I have been in contact with the people from the church for a while. I’ve seen that they live a life of piety and are kind and sincere in their interactions, nothing like what is said on the TV. But then I thought: If they didn’t do such a thing, how come media outlets report this? At the thought of this, I had some misgivings in my heart. Later, during a gathering I explained my confusion.

Hearing my question, a sister fellowshiped, “Actually, this case was fabricated by the CCP to frame and harm The Church of Almighty God. Many suspicious points in the video of the public trial of the incident you’ve watched can prove this. For example, Zhang Lidong and the others involved in the murder said that they had never been in contact with the people from The Church of Almighty God. This is sufficient to prove that this case has nothing to do with the church. But the CCP judges disregarded the suspects’ testimonies. Before getting to the truth of the matter, the CCP rushed headlong into publicly reporting in all major media outlets and on the Internet that the case was committed by people from The Church of Almighty God. Clever people can see clearly right away that this case was concocted by the CCP.”

Seeing Through the CCP’s True Intentions in Engineering a False Case

Through the sister’s fellowship I understood that the May 28 Zhaoyuan Case was manufactured by the CCP in order to suppress and persecute The Church of Almighty God. But I didn’t know why the CCP did this to vilify the church. The sister read a passage of Almighty God’s words that related directly to my problem: “Satan builds its reputation through deceiving people, and often establishes itself as a vanguard and role model of righteousness. Under false pretenses of safeguarding righteousness, it harms people, devours their souls, and uses all sorts of means to benumb, deceive and incite man. Its goal is to make man approve of and go along with its evil conduct, to make man join it in opposing God’s authority and sovereignty. However, when one sees through its schemes and plots and sees through to its vile features, and when one does not wish to continue to be trampled upon and fooled by it or to continue slaving away for it, or to be punished and destroyed alongside it, then Satan changes its previously saintly features and tears off its false mask to reveal its true face, which is evil, vicious, ugly and savage. It would love nothing more than to exterminate all those who refuse to follow it and who oppose its evil forces.”

After reading God’s words, the sister fellowshiped, “The CCP is an atheist party and believes in that Satanist leader Marx. Satan hates the truth and God, so does the CCP. The CCP permits neither God’s existence nor God’s exposition of its wicked deeds—it wants to eradicate all religious beliefs. This is particularly true in the last days—Almighty God incarnate has appeared and is working, expressing truths and doing the work of judging and cleansing man. Many true believers have understood the truth from Almighty God’s words and have had discernment of the evil essence of the CCP, thus becoming unwilling to be deceived by it anymore and starting to reject it. They are following Almighty God and taking the right path in life. Seeing that more and more people are gaining faith in Almighty God, the CCP has really panicked, afraid that it cannot continue controlling people. So it has issued confidential documents many times to mobilize armed police to seriously crack down on The Church of Almighty God and arrest Christians on a national scale. It has also spread rumors, falsified facts, fabricated false cases on the Internet and TV to blame and discredit The Church of Almighty God, and then it has begun to wantonly arrest the believers under the pretense of protecting justice. By doing so, it wants to coerce the believers into giving up their faith and betraying God and to deceive those who don’t understand the truth of the matter to stand on its side and resist and condemn Almighty God and persecute the believers along with it. Just like you, when you saw that your wife didn’t lose temper at will and had her corrupt dispositions changed a lot after believing in Almighty God, you were very supportive of her belief and began to listen to hymns of God’s words with her. Your family was happy and joyous. But after listening to the CCP’s rumors, you started to become suspicious and guarded toward your wife and hindered her faith. This not only made you miserable but also hurt your wife. Your family lost the comfort of the past. Wasn’t that just falling prey to Satan’s scheme? Satan is taking advantage of our lack of understanding of the truth and of discernment to cajole us into stopping our family from believing in God, so that we resist and reject God alongside it and end up being punished by God. This is Satan’s sinister motive. But God’s wisdom is forever exercised upon Satan’s trickery. God is using the CCP government’s persecution of Christians to enable us to have discernment of its God-hating, God-opposing evil essence. This way, whatever rumors or lies the CCP creates, we won’t be deceived and controlled by it and won’t act as accomplices of Satan who prevent our family from believing in God.”

Through God’s words and the fellowship of the sister, I finally understood the CCP’s true purpose in fabricating rumors. I thought back on how my wife and I had been miserable over the last two years because I had been deceived by the rumors and been trying to hinder her faith. This was all due to my lack of discernment on the CCP’s lies and my relatives’ exhortations. The CCP’s rumors almost broke up my happy family. Looking at the brothers and sisters around me, most of them had their families thrown into chaos and even torn apart because of the CCP government’s rumors. Only now did I realize that the CCP is the real culprit in the destruction of Christians’ homes. From then on, I no longer believed in the CCP’s rumors and was determined to practice my faith alongside my wife.

Obeying God’s Sovereignty and Submitting Everything to God

Afterward, when I heard that some brothers and sisters around me were arrested, I felt very timid and fearful. Then my wife played for me a hymn of God’s words“No Power Can Stand in the Way of What God Wishes to Achieve.” I heard, “No country or power can stand in the way of what God wishes to achieve. Those who obstruct God’s work, resist the word of God and disturb and impair the plan of God shall ultimately be punished by God. He who defies the work of God shall be sent to hell; any country that defies the work of God shall be destroyed; any nation that rises up to oppose the work of God shall be wiped from this earth and shall cease to exist.”

After listening to this song, my wife fellowshiped, “From God’s words we can see that God is the Ruler of all things. No person or nation can ever surpass God’s authority and power. We see that although the CCP government has always frantically persecuted The Church of Almighty God and blocked God’s work during these years, its cunning schemes have never prevailed. Not only has the church not been defeated, but on the contrary it has flourished more and more. All sorts of gospel films and videos, MVs, hymns, stage plays, and articles of testimony of God’s chosen people, etc., have been uploaded to the Internet one after another and they attract people all over the world to seek and investigate Almighty God’s work in the last days. This is enough to prove that no country or person can stand in the way of what God wishes to achieve. Today, we follow the one and only Almighty God. Whether we will be arrested or imprisoned isn’t up to the CCP government to decide. Everything is in God’s hands.”

This hymn made me feel the authority and power of God’s words and the facts showed me that, indeed no one can stand in the way of God’s work. At that time, I found my faith in God, became willing to obey God’s sovereignty and arrangements, and wished to place my life and death in God’s hands.

Later, I no longer relied upon myself to struggle to do business, but instead got a stable job. I would give my monthly salary to my wife to look after. Although we weren’t well off, our life regained its previous happiness and joy. Now, outside of work, I have enough time to have gatherings with my brothers and sisters and read God’s words. My life is really free and relaxing. I know that all of this is ruled and arranged in God’s hands and is the result achieved by God’s words. I am so thankful to Almighty God!
